Epping Forest Centenary Trust was formed in 1978 to celebrate the
centenary of the passing of the Epping Forest Act 1878.
The Act protects Epping Forest in perpetuity and vests its care
in the City of London as Conservators (www.cityoflondon.gov.uk)
Our vision is to inspire people, particularly those less able to
participate, to discover, explore and conserve Epping Forest.
Our aim is to develop people through conservation.
We take groups out into Epping Forest to engage with the Forest,
often undertaking practical habitat management to improve the Forest
for people and wildlife.
